Happy New Year 2015

Happy New Year, Friends!!

Finally sitting and writing things related to the new year, I started running upon this runway; "I create the basic opportunities of achievements NOT just at the size of what I individually can do, but as big as our teamwork can do."
This new year resolution is based on my departed Professor from the graduate science college I belonged to: "Being one of "the Attractors" make myself the Choosers, while the Chaos make people the Chasers."

We all have things to achieve.
Let's make all of them come true to our content, and sometimes, together.
2015 has just begun!

明けましておめでとうございます。

仕事始め。 クリスマスに実家から送ってもらったワイシャツを下ろし袖を通す。
「追跡者たるものはカオスの一員に、
追究者たるものはアトラクターとなる。」
かつて院時代、所属していた天体物理学研究室の今は亡き教授の教え。流行の渦に乗って緩やかに社会の流れを形成するカオス、その流れを作り、新たな流れに牽引するアトラクター。　僕は社会的常識から外れることを代償に、後者を選んだ。
少なくとも海外に来た多くの日本人が目指しているように。

アトラクターの因子は、強運や周りの惜しみない助力のおかげもあって、いちクリエイターとしては芽吹かせることができ、基盤をなすことができた。
今年は去年に続き咀嚼するとともに、もうワンステップ踏み込み、
「ひとりでは成し得ないことを、できる基盤をつくる」
ここに新たな城を築いていこうと思う。

志ある仲間を集め、村おこしをするだけのメタ・カオスではなく、
会社という単位で、人を動かすことに表門から、真っ向から勝負してゆく。
そういったアトラクターが幾つも集まり（集め）、
やがてメタ・アトラクターとなる日が来るまで。

飛躍の予感、募る実現願望。僕のみならずたくさんの人が抱いているでしょう。
みんなで頑張って、思い思いに、あるいは一緒に成し遂げましょう。
本年も、何卒宜しくお願いいたします。

強制的に時差ボケをチューンアップして戻したようなランチタイム。いいとも観ながらふけっていたあの頃と同じく、ふと思う。

童貞を抜けた今も、幼稚と非常識と中二病を引きずりながらつまらないところだけオヤジ的常識化してなおガラスハートを良くも悪くも持ち合わせている。　酸いも甘いも、怠惰も勤労も、子供も大人も境などない。諸刃だけどいまだにアンインストールせずにフル稼働している。　鼻につくほど美化すれば、本当にハウルの動く城みたいなものが、脳内で動き出す。

物理的にも電波的にも、がちんこはいやだ。だから種はまかない（ようにしている）。
知らずうちにまいた種を、たぶん周囲の人は、何も言わず片付けてくれているのだと思う。
ただ最近、ほんの少しだけそのガラスに毛が生えてきた気がする。　割られるのはいやだけど、インタラクションがまったくなくなり取り返しがつかなくなるよりは断然ましだから・・。

小石や魚は少なくなっている。　水草の花は咲くかもしれないが、まだ静かに揺れている。

流れについてきてくれているみんなに、またこれからもっと増えるみんなに、
どうせまくなら、芽の出る種を。　みんなが食べてよろこんでくれる、美味しい実を。

道のりは長いが、何事も順番にやる。

just a bit of art talk - "What do you find art in photo-real?"

Almost 2 weeks ago, I was doing some live performance of caricature-izing of friends at an party event. Then one asked me,
"Do you also draw exactly like a photograph?"

From the background process of my art foundation, I wound up to that time & back to now & said,
"You might just wanna take a good photo" with smiles.

Some might get it already yeah? :) If you go exactly copying photo, there's not special spice of art in it. We human love to create something exactly like realistic existing. (so-called humans' God-oriented ego) Some struggle to get out of it, and conclusion : headache. YES.

But why this wrong??

You'll be/you've been through that time & find there's much more sense to make it artistic final work for you.

"Photo-copying work and Photo-realistic one are way different."
(写実は模写とは全く異なるものである。)
as one of my professors told me. 

People see it, and get involved. That feels more like art, don't we think?

My respectful prof also said this after some of my questions :
"They people see you in your art. Even if they don't see you in person, they DO."



Just for you as the reference, for your healthier life as an artist.

hey guys!

first I must apologize for this super delay... Let's just say I've got out of the forest - of some life transitions and etc.
I'll update as much as i can from now onward, with mainly still arts. Stay tuned!

iv never posted my animation pieces, but this time. Let's cook my old stuff - Pom's anim test.
many guys told me this looks like "JAPANESE" dunno wth that means. one thing i realize these days is that it goes strong intonations of ease-in & out. Yes, no character in reality hovers still in the air for seconds, this is known as cartoony style though. Well did you say mine is not working? Something is different? i know, u just can say "Something is wrong". I KNOW.

most of guys gave me warm words, but also i remembered they added that this is NOT going to Pixar class reel. (Funny, ppl nod as nice work, then asked if it goes to the reel? then ALL of them shook heads this time XD )
I totally agree. I can see why not. So I never did it. This has a story, but hard to know only from here. Some understand 'cause they've already seen my thesis, but hell no, nobody does in real. Employers never have time to refer more if the student have such average (or yet less than) skills, generally speaking.

so guys, what do u think? Pros/Cons?
esp pierce me with more Cons. i am actually fed up with ppl flattering Looks good, good job, no i mean it really is.

in addition to "looks Japanese", they said that's my style. I am very very happy if it really works as my style (we bleed to find own styles...), but i cannot agree with it. Moreover, I like more subtle & simple ones with characters, and wanna do it. Such crazy right-then-left action as this bird - I don't always want it. I've known some guys having the same thought like "It finally becomes it, but I don't always want it. I wanted to do @&#$%..." Well I might have to be more responsible to make it exactly what i want.

Now it's cooking time.
